At Mill Lane Pet Centre we hand rear bird on site and this is done by staff with years of experience in handrearing birds of all varieties.

All English bred, Parrots can normally be viewed from 3- 4 weeks old at which time a deposit can be taken to secure. Then you can photograph, handle and watch your baby parrot grow and develop before its ready to go to its new home. Only when fully weaned and independent will your new pet be ready to leave.

African Greys are usually available all year where as some species are seasonal such as Macaws and Amazons.

As well as the bigger species Mill Lane Pet Centre also hand rear smaller parakeets and parrots such as Cockatiels, Senegals and cute Kakarikis. Only birds which make a long term good pet are hand reared.

The baby parrots are loveable and often talking when ready to leave the pet centre.
